Smart Saving - Money Goal is engineered as an offline-first financial tracker. Your deposit/withdrawal records, savings goals, monthly statistics, and notes are stored exclusively on your local device using secure, local Room database storage. We do not maintain any external databases or transmit your personal financial entries to any remote server.
2. App Permissions Used
To provide core app features, deliver notifications, and support Google Play services, Smart Saving - Money Goal requests the following permissions on your device:
android.permission.INTERNET
Used to request Google AdMob test/production advertisements, verify remote app maintenance status, and check Google Play Store in-app update availability.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used to verify whether an active network connection exists before attempting network calls (such as checking for Play Store updates or loading banner/native ads).
android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS
Required on Android 13+ (API 33+) to deliver local savings reminders and goal milestone completion alerts directly on your device. You can grant or revoke notification permissions anytime via your device system settings.
3. Information Collection & Local Storage
- Local Financial Records: All financial entries, custom goal targets, and category tags are saved locally on your device.
- No User Registration: You do not need to log in or provide personal details (such as name, email, or bank credentials) to use the app.
- CSV & JSON Backups: When you perform a backup export, the resulting JSON or CSV files are saved directly into your device's local file storage under your explicit control.
4. Third-Party Services
Our application integrates trusted third-party SDKs that process limited technical device identifiers in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies:
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Displays Banner, Interstitial, Native, and App Open ads. AdMob may process device advertising IDs and technical log data as governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Services & Play In-App Updates: Verifies application version availability and delivers update prompts directly from the Google Play Store.
- OneSignal Push Notifications: Manages local and push notification delivery for goal milestone alerts as governed by OneSignal's Privacy Policy.
5. Data Control and User Deletion Rights
You have full autonomy over your stored data:
- Deleting Transactions & Goals: You can edit or delete individual transactions or goals at any time within the app.
- Permanent Data Reset: You can wipe all local application data at any time via Settings → Data Management → Clear All Data.

Smart Saving - Money Goal does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. The application is designed for general audiences seeking personal financial goal tracking.
